Any shade of blue as an accent is always good for me but this steel blue is the perfect shade. Not grey, not blue but a wonderful mix that is great whether it is a touch of colour or a whole room. There are so many things I like in this apartment...the square tile (that almost looks like subway tile) with dark grout. The white Smeg fridge...hello lovely....and the gorgeous sink in the kitchen. The rest of the apartment is as perfect as the kitchen with warm neutrals in the living room and a pop of blue in the bedroom.....

Love the light feeling in this barn style home…so bright and open. Any place with these high ceilings really does it for me. Concrete floors and white furniture…now really what could be better!! That little touch of orangey/yellow in the kitchen is pretty good too don't you think?

Pretty apartment on Entrance, a site for buying and selling real estate, with wonderful high ceilings and gorgeous mouldings. The chandeliers in the living room and kitchen are perfect to accent the architectural details of the apartment. Lots of bright white and grey walls keep it light and clean playing off the white and herringbone floors. I could move right in!

I am starting to feel that spring is not far off here in Montreal...yes we still have snow on the ground...but this pink is the perfect way to introduce the new season. I am so tired of dark boots, coats, and sweaters!! Loving the way the pink is used in these photos from all out pink bed to a shot of pink in the couch. A rustic pink wall to a pretty spring wool coat...bring it on!

Sometimes when I am looking through my pins I have the sense that the decorators and the food stylists are working together…but as we know one trend influences the other so it is not a surprise.
