Natrel and lookslikewhite Present: A Breathtaking Table Setting for the Holidays

This past summer I worked with Natrel, a Quebec based dairy company, on a wonderful project, How to Set a Summer Brunch Table. Well, I have once again had the chance to work with this great company on dressing a Breathtaking Holiday Table. Natrel has a wonderful commitment to providing pure, natural products and their website magazine is full of inspiring recipes and ideas for the holiday season.

It is always so much fun for me to think of ways to plan out my table settings for this time of year and I really love the rustic feeling of the Holiday Table we have for you in the video. There are so many great ways to Set a Holiday Table so this week I will dedicate a couple of posts to doing just that!

Take a look at the video and let me know how you plan to set your table this year!

Enjoy!

Natrel and lookslikewhite Present: Summer Outdoor Brunch

I had such a great time recently working with the company Natrel. Natrel is a Canadian company, part of Agropur, which produces dairy products. They have a wonderful commitment to providing pure ingredients in their milk products and their name and slogan says it all...Natrel... Inspired by Nature.

They work with Canadian bloggers on providing fun content for the Magazine on their website...so full of great ideas, recipes and tips. I wanted to do a video with them so I put together something on how to Set a Summer Brunch table. I love doing rustic tables outside in the summer and so it was a natural fit for Natrel and I to work together.

Go on over and take a look at the video on the website and let me know what you think!

Enjoy!

Inspiration in White: Branches

I always have flowers in my house...usually white...and I truly appreciate the feeling they give to my home ...fresh, natural and beautiful. When I don't use flowers I like to put branches and lately I have been seeing them everywhere in photos on Pinterest.

There are many ways to use them and below you can see a few examples. I love the tall ones in pots on the floor. They have a kind of presence that is different than flowers...kind of like having a large plant in your home....but different in the way of it being more raw, less refined which is a wonderful contrast in a sophisticated room. Take a look at my video Set the Table to see how I used branches on my chandelier.

What other ideas do you have for using branches?

Video Series: Set the Table

For 2014 I want to change things up a bit on my blog and one of the projects I have wanted to do for awhile is videos. I have never appeared on my blog and I have never shown my own decor but that is about to change....I love decorating and doing things around my home (and of course the homes of my clients) so I want to be able to share that with you this year. I will feature different ideas on setting tables, changing up your decor in the living room or bedroom and perhaps some before and afters in my clients homes.

My first video was shot in my dining room and I wanted to do a table that you could set up all year. It works in the winter or the summer and all you need is fresh herbs and branches. You could add flowers in small vases on the table but I set it this time with greenery only. I used Rosemary, mint and eucylyptus branches on the table...and of course I used mylookslikewhite ceramics as well. Hope you enjoy! Would love to hear your feedback of what you would like to see....(click on Vimeo to see it in HD)
