Mora Clocks
You all know my love of Swedish style.. the simple way the rooms are arranged, the white palette and the delicate design of the furniture.
I have a particular obsession with Mora Clocks and have been searching for one for many years. Mora clocks were traditionally made in the town of Mora in Sweden and began production in the late 18th century and continued to be made right through the 19th century. They are essentially a grandfather clock and have wonderful varied colours and shapes. Some even have a kind of crown or ornament on the top of the clock.
There are really none to be found in Quebec or at least it is very rare but I hold out hope that I will one day have one in my home, in fact I have just the spot!

Enjoy!

There are many knock-off Mora clocks. You can google grandmother clock. Mine is a copy and I painted it to look like the real thing. There is no way I can afford the antique version.
