Beautiful in Brooklyn

I first saw this home in the book Decorate by the wonderful blogger Holly Becker and I could not stop looking at it over and over. It provided me with some great inspiration for a project I have been working on for the past few months. So while visiting the site The Selby today I ran across this  house once again and decided I had to share it with you! (I love the The Selby by the way. Homes of all sorts of wonderful creative people!)

This is the home of Lyndsay Caleo and Fitzhugh Karol who are interior designers and artists. What I am so inspired by is the way the home works as a it feels entirely seamless with one room flowing beautifully into the next. The rooms have a natural, sort of artsy vibe while still being very sophisticated. The kitchen is just perfect for shelving, big farmhouse sink yet it feels modern with the countertops and stainless steel. Oh yes this is really such a great space!
