Interior Courtyards

I showed the third picture in a post a couple of days ago and it got me thinking about interior courtyards. I love this idea of having an open space in the center of the living area. It creates a beautiful division in the property as well as opens up the entire home to a shadowy kind of light. Add a little garden or a lap pool and you have a incredibly special oasis.

Garden Entry

Oh I am feeling spring in the air finally...yes I can actually see the edge of the grass in my front yard... and it has got me thinking about my garden. I can hardly wait to get out and fix up my yard and I have been looking for inspiration on Pinterest. I just love these front door and garden entries...such a old world, romantic feeling to these doorways! I always like to see a punch of colour on a doorways as well...I have a red door...and of course a black door always looks good with every style of home.
