Interiors: Home of Angelika Taschen

Every time I was in Paris over the last couple of years I would make a stop at the book store Taschen. I loved to look around at all of the art and photography books that they publish. The store has this vibe, very artsy and yet sophisticated and sexy....much like the apartment of the owner Angelika Taschen. This apartment is in Berlin and she says the new way to decorate in her city is to make the best space with very little money...and I think her apartment reflects her philosophy. She has not got a lot of pieces but they are meaningful to her and are all rather artsy and her store. Most surprising is the kitchen with just one wall of counters and her table and a lamp. On the other wall is a gorgeous mirror, not really what you would expect to see in a kitchen but that is what makes it so great...Take a look.
